GREATER HOUSTON COMMUNITY PARTNERS OF INNOVATIVE SCHOOLS
Founded on July 29, 2014, Greater Houston Community Partners of Innovative Schools (GHCPIS) was established with a clear and compelling mission:

"To empower first-generation and at-risk youth to reach their potential by completing their secondary education and enrolling in and graduating from an institution of higher education."

At Greater Houston Community Partners of Innovative Schools, we recognize that the path to college can be especially challenging for many students—often marked by limited resources, a lack of mentorship, and the difficulty of navigating systems that may overlook their potential. That’s why our mission is focused on removing these barriers and creating pathways to opportunity.

We firmly believe that every student—no matter their background—deserves the opportunity to succeed in school, college, and beyond.

Who We Serve
We work with students from underserved communities, particularly those who are the first in their families to pursue higher education or who have been identified as at-risk due to socioeconomic or academic challenges. We also partner with schools, school districts, educators, and community-based organizations to align efforts that directly impact student success.

Through strategic programming, mentoring, college and career readiness initiatives, leadership development, and family engagement, we provide students with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to take control of their futures.
